Rustic Weddings

It used to be when someone mentioned a farm wedding our minds automatically went to “redneck.” But one of my favorite trends of the moment is outdoor rustic weddings. I think this is a great way to show creativity and the fun side of the couple. Since they are in a more non traditional location they have a larger pallette to work with.

First I wanted to share with you some of my favorite locations across the Carolina's:
This is a big oak tree in Tanglewood Park located in Clemmons, NC.
This location has so much natural beauty and would be perfect for an outdoor wedding. If this does not suit your style, Tanglewood has a variety of other great wedding and reception locations throughout their park.
This is the magnificent Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, SC.

The Dairy Barn does give you the barn feeling, but as you can tell it is still really nice.
The is Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont, NC

This is a great spot because you can have the ceremony in one spot and the reception in another.

I found some cute decorations that would bring the whole day together!

I just LOVE these candle holders. The seller allows you to choose the colors you want. The set is for 25 for $200. What a great deal!

These are a fun alternative to the normal lighting. These not only provide light but also are great decoration.
This is another fun addition that you can order with your specific colors. They are a cheap and easy but look great! Check out the above decorations at www.etsy.com
